Bel Air Attorney Douglas A. Jones
In 1976 Douglas A. Jones earned a bachelor of science from the College of New Jersey. While in college he completed an internship with a New Jersey state senator in Trenton, NJ, and he completed an internship with a United States senator in Washington DC.
In December 1978, Mr. Jones graduated from the University of Baltimore Law, MD , with a Juris Doctor degree. While in law school he participated in an internship with a Maryland Court of Appeals judge in Annapolis.
Mr. Jones took the Maryland bar examination in February 1979 and in May 1979 the Court of Appeals of Maryland admitted Mr. Jones to practice law in the State of Maryland.
From August 1979 to August 1980 Mr. Jones was employed as law clerk to the Honorable Brodnax Cameron, Jr., Judge of the Circuit Court for Harford County.
Since the completion of the clerkship in 1980, Mr. Jones has been in the practice of law.
Douglas Jones has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States.
Mr. Jones has appeared in State of Maryland District Courts, in State of Maryland Circuit Courts, before the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland, in the Federal District Court for Maryland, in juvenile court, before the Workers' Compensation Commission of Maryland, before the Social Security Administration, and before the Motor Vehicle Administration.
He has represented thousands of clients and has appeared in court trials, jury trials, and hearings.
Mr. Jones is a member of the Harford County Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association.
